Being A Small Company Doesn't Stop Us From Getting Big Results

First established in 1972 as Frank Ramsay & Co, today Carter Lindsay & McHugh is owned & managed by John Lindsay & Shaun McHugh. In the year 2000 after some 40 plus years in the industry, Frank Ramsay the businesses original proprietor decided to retire, Mark Carter, already a partner then took over the business. After a long and very valued association with the industry and a very well respected contribution to the business & clients, in June 2009 Mark decided to call it a day on the Agency industry. John Lindsay & Matthew Weber took over the business after Mark retired, with Matthew calling it a day and retiring after a long association with the Agency industry in June 2022.

Directors John Lindsay & Shaun McHugh operate Carter Lindsay & McHugh along with Campbell Rose & Sam Knaggs, our Dubbo office Manager is Donna Ledsham with office Administrator Tracey Minney.  Our agency from its humble background still remains a compact private business, servicing the Central West NSW region.

Change in Sale Start Times - DRLM

For the next 3 months, commencing Monday 2nd November, 2026 - Dubbo Regional Council in conjunction with Dubbo Stock & Station Agents Association will be trialling the following change in start times for weekly sales at the Dubbo Saleyards (Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets) during the daylight saving period.
